Timetable of events:

Anne Dickins

We are proud to announce that the Carnival will be officially opened this year by Anne Dickins MBE, Gold medal winning Paralympian, devoted mum and local Physiotherapist.

As well as winning gold for paracanoeing at the Rio Paralympics, she holds the world record for 200m sprint. She has won two World Championships and three European Championships since she started competing for Great Britain in 2013. This feat is remarkable when you consider that the first time she sat in a boat was in 2012 and the story of her life changing injury and how she turned her life around to become a Paracanoeing gold medalist in Rio is an incredible tale.

This year's Progrmme will be announced very soon, so watch this space.
We will endeavour to stick to the timeline as close as possible but
it may be adjusted on the day if there are any delays.

The Route:
